Our First News Report! March 24, 2009
Now that April is approaching we figure you wanna know... When are we opening?? Here is our fist update:

On Thanksgiving day, with the help of a new 92 year old friend (of whom we hope you will hear more about later), We decided to set our goal to open on April Fools Day! We like fun, and April was already decided to be our target. Well, we cranked up all the equipment on Friday March 20, and 5 of our systems failed. April Fools, Barnacle Bistro!! The joke starts on us! To be expected, we suppose. We can say that the list of equipment that came through is much longer!! But getting parts and scheduling our friends, Budwyn from Budwyn's Custom Shop and Kirt from Blue Star Gas to get the parts ordered and get back in to fix things spells a week delay. We're now hoping for April 6th but less one fryer when that happens... Stay tuned. We'll be posting an Opening Soon sign. When that comes down, we want to see your expectant smiles! Oh, and I'll announce it here, too!
